Absorption Silencer

Can be used as a pressure, suck or blow-down silencer
Noise is absorbed by the installation of dampening material
Various dampening materials can be used, depending upon requirements (temperature, application area, etc.):
- Glass fiber yarn, stainless steel mesh, wire 0.28 mm (made of 1.4301 or 1.4571), galvanized steel mesh, wire 0.28 mm, mineral wool
- Foam (e.g. CALIFLAM)
- Stainless steel mesh (mesh width 0.50 mm) and glass fabric mats are usually used as particle protection
